As an experienced drone pilot, I have spent many hours flying throughout Grand Rapids, MI and many other areas around the country. During those trips I have used the DJI Mini 3 Pro & DJI Avata 2 as they are very compact and easy to bring along on trips.

I have used both of these drones to do construction site monitoring, real estate and many hours flying over fun points of interest. As a professional drone pilot, I lacked a higher level drone for accuracy required jobs. Enter the Mavic 3 Enterprise.

Mavic 3 Enterprise with RTK Module

The Mavic 3 Enterprise opens up a world of opportunity that the DJI Mini 3 Pro just cannot handle and the Avata 2 was never designed to accomplish. And that's ok! Those drones have their place. Real estate and site monitoring, these drones are quiet, unobtrusive, small, did i mention quiet? Which is great in these areas of business.

However, I would like to branch into cell tower inspections, 3D mapping and even inspections and the Mavic 3 Enterprise provides new features to accomplish these deliverables. Some of the key features are:

  • 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera with mechanical shutter

  • 46 Minutes of flight time

  • Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance

  • 56x Hybrid zoom

and many more features that I can spend hours listing.

What I am most excited about are the safety features connected to this drone. I love the obstacle avoidance on the Mavic 3 Enterprise. It gives me more control and safety than either of my previous drones and should give me a bit more piece of mind when flying to make those daring shots that are a little lower, a little closer and superior quality. I also like the changes to the return to home (RTH) function that has been added to this drone that helps save time and power by finding the most optimal route back.
